describes what the site actually stores today; it should be reviewed before
launch.
The short version
If you follow someone or join a waitlist, we store your email address and what
you asked for. Accounts also store your email and saved research. If you allow analytics, we measure visits and product interactions. We do
not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers, and there is no advertising
on the site.
What we store
Your email address, when you give it to us to follow a
person, follow the roster, or join a waitlist.
What you asked for: which person or which tier, and the
date you asked.
A correction you send, including the page and text you
quoted, and your email if you chose to give one so we can reply.
Accounts and saved research
Supabase provides account authentication and stores saved investigations,
selected people, views and notes. Saved research is private to your account.
Contact us at the address below to request deletion of your account and research.
Optional analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits, campaign sources,
dashboard use and successful saves using analytics cookies. Our research
events do not include your email, password, account ID, private notes or
investigation text. We remove authentication fragments and non-campaign
query parameters from the page address sent by our tracker. Advertising
personalization is disabled.
You can decline analytics and still use the site. Use “Analytics preferences”
at the bottom of a page to change your choice. Your choice is remembered in
this browser. Analytics is separate from storage needed to sign in and save work.
What we do not store
No payment details: there is no card form on this site and no payment
processor connected to it. No advertising or cross-site tracking profiles.
Why we store it
To send the alert you asked for, to tell you if a tier you asked about
launches, and to reply about a correction. Accounts let you keep investigations and notes across devices. Optional analytics helps us understand how people find and use the site.
Getting it deleted
Every alert email has an unsubscribe link, which stops the emails and marks
the record inactive. To have your address deleted outright, write to
hello@minutesof.com and it will be
removed.
Third parties
The site is served as static files. Pages that show a post embed load it from
X, which means X can see that request; nothing is passed to them by us. Audio
is played from the publisher's own servers, so their terms apply when you
follow a link.
