Lutnick accuses Canada of manufacturing last-minute demands as a pretext to exit a deal they no longer wanted.

Lutnick advised von der Leyen that attacking Trump energizes him and he responds twice as hard, like a centrifuge.

Lutnick advised von der Leyen not to attack Trump directly because confrontation charges him up.
“You know, that's too much. Like don't say no. Don't do that. Because if you go at Donald Trump, he's going to win.”
