Vance says communities were told for forty years that domestic manufacturing location doesn't matter.
“For forty years, places like Brewer have been told that it doesn't matter. That it doesn't matter if we make things here in Maine or 5,000 miles away with foreign workers.”
Vance accuses politicians of cheering corporate raiders who offshored jobs or hired illegal aliens.
“They would cheer on the corporate raiders as they slashed headcount and shifted all those businesses either to foreign countries or brought in illegal aliens to employ.”
