Dearlove says there is a legal argument for legitimacy of the attack despite UN international law views.
“On the other hand, you know, if you take a strict UN related view of the interpretation of international law, which is always being evolved by human rights lawyers, they all argue differently.”
Dearlove suggests Iran may remain under Ayatollahs but become more compliant and willing to negotiate.
“One is you end up with an Iranian regime, which is still run by Ayatollahs, but is prepared to be more compliant and will negotiate with Americans and with the rest of the Middle East.”
Dearlove reveals the Iran operation was planned for months by Israel and the US, commanded by Admiral Brad Cooper.

Dearlove predicts the beginning of the end for Iran's theocratic regime.
“I think it's the beginning of the end of the theocratic regime in Iran. How quickly that regime comes down, I think it's hard to predict.”
