Sacks asserts AI has caused no meaningful job loss yet and has driven half of this year's 4% GDP growth.
“Not in any meaningful numbers. And in fact, AI has been responsible for about half of GDP growth this year. So GDP growth is about 4%.”
Sacks cites report that AI represented 75% of GDP growth last quarter, just from infrastructure capex.
“There's another article saying that I think in the last quarter AI was 75% of GDP growth. And by the way, this is just the CapEx part. This is the physical infrastructure.”
