Gerstner cites Morgan Stanley research showing super cycles are systematically underestimated by about 40% at their start.
“When I think about what's going on here of course they show they went back and did some math against initial estimates and said, you know, super cycles are about 40% underestimated at the start.”
Gerstner quotes AMD's Lisa Su calling this year two of a ten-year compute buildout supercycle.
“Lisa said we're in year two of a ten year super cycle to build out the compute in America. If you're not on the AI wave, then you're not gonna participate in all that upside.”
Gerstner says AI will be bigger than the Internet, the fourth super cycle he has lived through.
“I've lived through four, the Internet, cloud computing, mobile computing, and now we're entering the age of AI. It will be bigger than the Internet itself.”
