Gurley says he developed skills in synthesizing and communicating through blogs and podcasts during his venture career.
“I've, I've developed a pretty good rhythm about being able to synthesize and communicate. So I did that in my venture career through blogs and eventually things like podcasts.”
Gurley plans to identify policy issues where communication alone can shift public perception like nuclear energy shift.
“I'm I'm gonna look to see if I can find more things like that where just highlighting things and communicating could potentially change things.”
Gurley contrasts Zuckerberg's detailed transparency with platitudes from Dario and Sam about AI's future impact.
“Dario and Sam talk in these high level platitudes about how this stuff's gonna cure cancer and we're all gonna not have to work anymore. And Zuck was down in the weeds in the meet.”
