Gurley sees Bitcoin hovering at $600-700 as a competitor to gold rather than traditional finance.
“And it hovers at a relatively stable value of 6 or $700 really as a competitor to gold right now.”
Gurley says Robinhood makes 4x more revenue per options trade than stock trade due to payment for order flow.
“So if you look at the Robinhood filings, they make about 4x the amount of revenue on a option trade than they do a stock trade.”
Gurley notes Brazil's government-run PIX payment system has reached 43% of all payments since mid-2020.
“So I saw a post online that really caught my eye about something called PIX, p I x, and I'll put the chart up right now.”
