Friedberg uses walking through walls as example to explain quantum mechanics at macroscopic scale.
“Let me just kind of describe another way. The macroscopic system could be my entire body. Could I walk through a wall?”
Friedberg explains the probability of quantum tunneling at human scale is too low to occur across universes.
“The the probability of all of my atoms being in the perfect moment, perfect position, you know, to to be able to kind of cross through the wall is so low, it would never happen in this or many other universes.”
Friedberg explains that objects moving away at light speed create an observational boundary limiting what we can experience.
“To a point that at a certain distance from us, the objects in whatever direction we look are moving away from us at nearly the speed of light or even faster.”
